Yesterday I posted a link to Rev. John Hudson's reflection on cheating in light of the Lance Armstrong story. I also recommend an essay by James Martin S.J. titled, Should We Forgive Lance Armstrong. In addition to Martin's serious musing on the question he poses, his piece includes a concise refresher on sacramental forgiveness in the Catholic Church.
Though I wasn't thinking of the Armstrong story when I posted the graphic below on my Face Book page yesterday, it seems appropriate to include it here, another in a range of considerations on contrition, forgiveness and finding peace.
