your palette never fails to please...

Even dry and barren branches
sketch a filigree, a frame
for this day's vespers in pastels...

Your beauty's there upon my rising
and when the day is done
and in every hour in between...

Lift my eyes to find your glory,
your artistry above and all around me
and in every one I meet...
