It's the long form of something I need to remember all the time:
Keep It In Today!
When I'm worried about things I cannot change,
help me keep it in today, Lord...
When I'm afraid of troubles I don't yet have,
help me keep it in today, Lord...
When I think that nothing will ever be right,
help me keep it in today, Lord...
When I'm confused and don't know where to begin,
help me keep it in today, Lord...
When fear of tomorrow steals the joy of the moment,
help me keep it in today, Lord...
When I try in a week to plan my whole life,
help me keep it in today, Lord...
When I'm all caught up in what's now past,
help me keep it in today, Lord...
When I think I can stay in the moment
all on my own, without any help,
help me keep it in today, Lord...
When I don't know whether I'm coming or going,
help me focus on the day at hand,
on the 24 hour I have to spend,
the day you've made and given to me
to get closer to where I want to me:
help me keep it in today, Lord,
help me keep it in today...
