Good morning, good God!

About all I have to offer this morning, Lord,
is my need for help!

So, I trust what I've been told:
you take delight when I turn to you
with nothing in hand
but my need for your grace...

So, I offer you my frustration, Lord,
and I pray for peace to settle my soul,
to help me to trust
that all things shall be well...

I offer you my impatience
and I pray for the grace
to bide my time
til all things shall be well...

I offer you my disappointments
and pray for hope
to buoy me up
til all things shall be well...

I offer you my bitterness
and pray your sweet anointing
come upon my stubborn heart
- til all things shall be well...

I offer you my temper, Lord,
and pray your touch
will temper me
til all things shall be well...

I offer you my anxious fears
and pray for courage,
day through night,
til all things shall be well...

I offer you my prejudice
and pray you guide
my mind to truth,
til all things shall be well...

I offer you my doubts,  O Lord,
and pray for strength
to trust again
til all things shall be well...

I offer you my anger, Lord,
and pray for grace
to tame my soul
til all things shall be well...

I offer you my grief
and pray for heart
to wait the day at last
when all things shall be well...

I offer all my needs, Lord
and pray for faith, for hope to trust
that all things shall be well again,
that all things shall be well, Lord,
that all  things shall be well...
