Every year, on the Sunday after Pentecost, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity. Each Christian baptized "in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" is claimed for Christ by the Church: our souls branded, indelibly tattooed with the triune life of God. Baptism marks us as daughters and sons of God, sisters and brothers of Christ, drawn by the Spirit to worship the Father of us all.

This Sunday's readings are among the shortest of the whole liturgical year. That's an extra reason to read and ponder these texts ahead of time lest they're over before you know it in church!
As you know, the Trinity is a mystery, revealed by God, but not something we can fully understand. The Catechism of the Catholic Church begins to address the mystery of the Trinity here.
In a lighter vein, here's some verse from a Catholic poet known for his strong orthodoxy. While not a theological exposition, there's a simple, homely theology at work here.
