Good morning, good God!

 

I offer today

    my schemes and my dreams,

    my hopes and my plans,

    my ambitions and intentions,

    my desires and goals

 

 and I pray:

    strip my schemes of cunning self-interest,

    let a few of my dreams come true,

    fill my hopes with trust in your promise,

    anoint my plans with insight and wisdom,

    curb my ambition with a humble spirit,

    guide my intentions to a fruitful end,

    balance my desires with persistence and patience

    and make all my goals worthy of you

       and the grace I pray for this morning...
