No matter how bright the sun today,
my view of the world will be clouded
by my mood, my worries,
my doubts and fears,
my hopes and my dreams
and in general, Lord,
by the way I think and hope and pray
the universe should run today...
And it's possible, Lord,
that you and I might have different views
of just how things should go...
So, clear my horizon of clouds, I pray
and open the eyes of my heart, Lord,
to see as you see, to see what you see,
to see with faith, to see with hope
and to see with love the world all around
and all who share it as home with me...
Open the eyes of my heart, Lord,
that I might see what you see
as you see it...
