Pause for Prayer: SUNDAY 7/17

Thanks Lord, for the day at hand,
   the day you set before me,
      the only day I have today...

Thanks for all this day may hold:
   its blessings and its burdens
      and all its unexpected gifts...

Thanks for help and comfort, Lord,
   when worry shadows every step
       and trouble weighs me down...

Thanks for folks I'll meet today:
   brothers, sisters, friends and strangers,
      each one loved by you as you love me...

Thanks for every step I take
   and the strength I have to take it:
      walk with me and be always at my side...

Thanks for this day's work and rest,
   for all that I accomplish
      - and bless the things I put off 'til tomorrow...

Thanks for being with me:
   help me find and make the time
      to sit and be with you...

Thanks for all this day may hold:
