Here's a prayer to begin your prayer,

    to begin your day, 

        to begin the rest of your life...

 

Lord Jesus, 

you are here

now,

as always,

and only because 

you want me

and 

you want to be with me...

Lord Jesus,

I am here 

now,

once again,

and only because I want you

and because I want to be with you...

Lord Jesus,

stay close by my side

as I lift my heart,

my prayer and my day,

as I lift the rest of my life to you

into your heart, opening wide

to welcome me,

to be with me,

that I might always be with you...
