Pause for Prayer: TUESDAY 9/5

If you don't find yourself in this morning's prayer

    then thank God and pray for those who do...

Lord,
for all who find today a hard day,
I pray you soften its rough edges...

For all who find today a sad day,
I pray you lift their spirits high...

For all who find today a long day,
help them pass the time in peace...

For all who find today a lonely day,
open wide their hearts to you...

For all who find today an anxious day,
ease their worries, calm their fears...

For all who find today a dark day,
let your light shine down upon them...

For all who find today a mournful day,

gently wipe away their tears...

For all who find today an empty day,
fill their hearts with faith and love...

For all who find today a hopeless day,
refresh their trust and  confidence in you...

And for all who find today their last day,
take them home, Lord, to your everlasting arms...
