One of the great attractions here in Georgetown, CO is the Georgetown Loop Railroad with its interesting history. You can still ride the loop and in the Christmas season, the train makes its way through the beautiful Lighted Forest. The Victorian train cars provide a warm, comfortable ride and there are snacks and hot drinks available - with or without an extra shot of warmth!
I rode the train tonight with my Colorado friends, Alma and Mark; Ruth and Bob, my sister and bro-in-law; and Ruby and Austin my great-niece and nephew. A splendid evening, indeed!
