"God comes to me everyday disguised as my life."
- Richard Rohr, OFM
I think if God came disguised as my life, He just might run away from me!
ReplyDeleteRun away?
ReplyDeleteNO way!
God's presence is like the air we breathe: it's the atmosphere in which we exist, without which we do not live. We inhale God with every breath and exhaling is nothing more than readying ourselves for the next in-Spiration. God is around us and in us and will not run from us anymore than we can escape him.
But somedays it just feels like he's not close by, or at least not listening.
ReplyDeleteMaybe even God needs a break.
