Where have all the comments gone?

Bear with me, here, in these early days of my blogging!

I switched the comment service from Blogger to Haloscan because Haloscan should offer the option of your being notified by email when a new comment is posted on a particular post. This saves you from going back, over and over again, to see if any new comments have been made on a post of interest to you.

Two problems here:

1) In the switch to Haloscan, all the comments from Blogger were deleted! (They don't tell you this until after you've made the switch!)

2) It may take as long as 24 hours for the notification process to be in place. In the meantime, you can post comments but it may be a few hours before you can opt to be notified of other comments being posted.

NOTE: if you opt to be notified of comments being posted, it happens automatically somewhere in cyberspace and, as always, I have no way of knowing about that and your interaction remains under your pseudonym or anonymous.
