I know I have at least one reader who's a lover of roses so I couldn't resist sharing this with you all.
Michael Paulson at the Boston Globe has posted on his blog this photo of a John Paul II Tea Rose which has bloomed in his garden.

ReplyDeleteJust returned from Seal Harbor, ME. In the post office there was a lovely vase of "Broadway" roses (coral with light yellow around the edges.) I had been admiring them when the postmaster said, "The culprit just arrived." He introduced me to the man who had brought him the roses, who in turn gave his wife all the credit!
