Ready to hear the Word?

Still haven't taken a peek at this weekend's scriptures? The good news is that it's not too late! Check this earlier post for the texts, commentary on them and hints for helping youngsters prepare to hear the Word this weekend.

Last week I wrote: "It's amazing the difference a little time at home can make when listening to the scriptures in church..."

Steve commented on that thought: "I really think your statement is worth repeating- thank you for saying it. Even with our best intentions and best effort at attention, things happen- whether it is distractions in our own minds, or what's going on around us. And sometimes, the reading is over and we've missed it."

I believe Steve is right - that's why I post twice a week in anticipation of the coming Sunday's scriptures.
