It's not even yet the week of Ash Wednesday but these Easter sweets have nested on store shelves everywhere!

    A sure sign of Lent's approach: peeps and chocolate bunnies on the shelves! And I'll confess,I bought some....

    ...and, (sadly), these aren't just "Easter sweets" anymore-

    I have seen them at Christmas and, I believe, Valentine's Day too...

    (confession: I don't actually like Peeps- I guess I'm not really a marshmallow fan- Peeps, to me, are like candy corn at Halloween- they are more of a "decoration", or a holiday "icon", than an edible treat)
