Pause for Prayer: FRIDAY 5/30

I need time to catch my breath...

I need a quiet place to rest...

I need to be alone with you, Lord...

So, cleanse my mind of all its worries...

Free my heart of what it fears...

Hold my cares in your strong hands...

Lift my soul to you in prayer...

Help me trust that you are there... 

Let me hear the word you speak...

Give me strength to do your will...

Help me follow where you lead...

Bring me through this day in peace,
   give me peaceful sleep tonight...

And that's all I need today, Lord,
   that's all I need today...
