I can easily get lost
in a maze of nights and days,
their confusing twists and turns
and dead ends of frustration...
I lose my way in puzzlement:
not knowing how I got here
or how or if or when
I might escape...
I get lost, Lord,
and don't know where to turn...
Come shepherd me
and rescue me from corners
where I'm caught, blocked in,
blank walls on every side...
Come guide me through this maze
and out to fields where I can roam
and walk in peace with you
and not be lost again...
