You never turn away from me
though I ignore and snub you...
You offer me your arms' embrace
as I resist your reach...
You're at the end of every road
where I would run from you...
You make your home within me
in my locked and shuttered heart...
You listen to my every word
though silent I may be...
You come to heal my brokenness
where I would nurse my wounds...
You never fail in mercy,
even when I fail to love...
You never give up loving me
though I give up on love...
Your grace is always there for me
when from your grace I fall...
You're Lord of all my life
when you're the last thing on my mind...
Without you I have nothing, Lord,
and all I have is yours...
