As sure as I know the winter will end
and spring will come again...
As sure as I know the days will lengthen
from the rising sun to its setting...
As sure as I know the sun will warm
my arms, the air, the earth...
As sure as I know the flowers will bloom
and grass and trees grow green...
So sure may I trust your grace this Lent
to touch and bless my soul...
So, hear my prayer, Lord, as I wait
a season's change within my heart...
