When my dreams crash and burn at my feet, Lord,
   help me hope beyond what I can see...

When failure knocks me down once again,
   let your love lift me up in support...

When I just don't get it and don't understand,
   deepen my trust in your wisdom, Lord...

And when my heart is broken,
  help me find my hope
      in your gentle, healing peace...
