Thank you, Lord,
   for helping make it through all the times,
   the weeks, the days and hours
   when I thought I didn't have a chance...

Thank you, Lord,
   for family and friends and strangers, too,
   who were there for me
   when I most needed help...

Thank you, Lord,
   for patience
   when I had no patience left...

Thank you, Lord,
   for faith
   when doubt was tempting me to fail...

Thank you, Lord,
   for strength
   when I was at my very weakest...

Thank you, Lord,
   for perseverance
   when I was ready to give up...

Thank you, Lord,
   for your gifts to me:
   the ones I've found
   and the ones I've yet to open...

Thank you, Lord,
   for counsel
   and the wisdom I needed
   to make the right choice
   when I was very much confused...

Thank you, Lord,
   for music:
   for every sound and tone,
   symphony and song
   that open my heart...

Thank you, Lord,
   for the smallest joys,
   the ones that bless my day
   and keep me going...

Thank you, Lord,
   for second chances
   when I thought I'd exhausted
   all your patience with me...

Than you, Lord,
   for hope
   when I saw no use in going on...

Thank you, Lord,
   for walking with me
   through grief and sadness,
   through anxiety and fear...

Thank you, Lord,
   for grace, your grace
   leading and guiding me,
   forgiving and healing me,
   consoling and challenging me,
   supporting and strengthening me
especially through all the times,
   the weeks, the days and hours
   when I thought I didn't have a chance...

Thank you, Lord,
   for without you
   I don't know what I'd do...
