A friend with an artist's eye photographed a river with leaves afloat, reflecting the sky - and then turned the photo sideways...
Lord,
you see me
as you see the world:
from top to bottom,
left and right,
front and back,
upside down,
inside out and
sideways...
You see beauty
beyond my gaze...
You see truth
beyond my ken...
You plumb depths
I cannot reach...
You see the whole
of all I miss...
Help me see as you do, Lord:
sharpen my sight
and focus my vision;
help me see from top to bottom,
left and right,
front and back, upside down,
inside out and sideways...
Help me see as you do, Lord,
before I say I've seen it all,
before I'm sure I know it all,
before I think there's nothing left to learn...
