when I'm so distracted that I actually forget about you -
until I make and find the time to seek you out
and sit quietly in your presence

just how much I need that time...

that I don't want to talk to anyone, not even you,
until I make and find the time to open up to you

when I convince myself that I'm too busy to pray,
to share my joys and sorrows,
until I make and find the time to talk with you

just how much I need that time...
There are times, Lord,
when I get everything mixed up, backwards,
upside down and inside out
until I make and find the time to seek your wisdom
and then I know, again,
how much I need that time...
There are times, Lord...
but you know all that and more,
you know how much I need you:
so help me make and find the time for you

just how much I need that time...
