I won't know all the stories and worries,
the pain and problems, the hardships and heartaches
filling the hearts of those whose paths cross mine today...
Nor will others know the problems and predicaments,
the fears and foreboding my own heart carries,
hidden deep within...
So, help us, Lord,
be as gentle and patient with one another today,
as you are with us, day in and day out...
