Every day, Lord,
you give me all the help I need
to accomplish what I need to do,
to speak the words I need to say,
to get to where I need to go,
to assist whomever needs my support,
to stop the things I need to end,
to begin the things I need to try
and to pray whatever I need to share with you...
Open my mind and heart and soul
to the grace and strength you offer me
- for this day, Lord, all day long -
and especially when and where and how
I need your help the most...
