the sounds of a woman in childbirth,
the cry of a new born baby,
the music of angels singing,
the footsteps of gathering shepherds,
the rush of the Spirit's wings,
and the whisper of God, deep in your heart:
All shall be well! All shall be well!
All manner of things shall now be well!
Protect me, Lord, as I lie awake
and watch over me as I sleep
that awake, I might wait your coming
and asleep, rest in your gracious peace...
