Lord,
call my name
- again and louder,
shake my shoulder,
pinch my cheek,
shake me silly,
pull the covers from my bed,
splash cold water in my face,
dress me in your finest blessings,
squeeze some OJ fresh and cold,
fill my cup with coffee - black,
point me where I need to go
and walk with me 'til day is done...
Amen.
