If you're around my age (75) - you'll love this!

Here's a PBS special of classic (NOT classical) Christmas music:  the songs I grew up with!

The program takes us back to the Perry Como and Andy Williams shows - and others, too: Nat King Cole, Judy Garland, Bing Crosby, The Carpenters, The Beach Boys, Brenda Lee, Burl Ives, Johnny Mathis, Rosemary Clooney, Gene Autry, The Lennon Sisters, Eddy Arnold, Mahalia Jackson, Mitch Miller, Mitzi Gaynor, The Supremes, Jimmy Boyd and The Drifters.  Hosted by Love Boat's Gavin MacLeod and Happy Days' Marion Ross, this is great seasonal nostalgia, including a lot of interesting background on how some of these songs came to be written.

And yes, it's PBS - so there's some fundraising, too - but even that's musical and didn't bother me at all!

Here's the trailer - you'll need to check your local PBS listings for air dates.
