Easter is, indeed, a moveable feast!
Christians celebrate Easter
on the first Sunday
after the first full moon
after the spring equinox.
That full moon will occur this year on Monday, March 25.
Easter will be celebrated on March 31.
The date of Passover celebration is determined by the 15th of the month of Nisan, which is the first night of a full moon after the spring equinox during the first month of the Jewish calendar. Passover 2024 will begin before sundown on Monday, April 22 and will end after nightfall on April 30.
This is the Passover/Paschal moon.
