NIGHT PRAYER: Wednesday 3/19

Lord Jesus:
    you are here now,
    always
    and only
    because you love me
    and want to be with me...

Lord Jesus:
    I am here now,
    again
    and only
    because I love you
    and want to be with you...

 

Lord Jesus, help me find in the silence:
    your presence,
    your protection,

    your promise
    and your peace...

Lord Jesus, help me trust:

    that you hear me,

    care for me,

    provide for me,

    and hold me

    in the palm of your hand...

 
Lord Jesus, help me listen:

    for you,
    for your truth,
    for your counsel,
    for your wisdom,
    for whatever is your word
    for me this night...

 

Lord Jesus, help me know:

    you consolation,

    your challenge,

    your comfort,

    and your compassion...

  
Lord Jesus, help me surrender:

    to your power,
    your love,

    your promise,

    your glory,

    your law,
    your mercy
    and to your Holy Spirit.

Protect me, Lord, while I'm awake

    and watch over me while I sleep

that awake, I might keep watch with you

    and asleep, rest in your peace...
