NIGHT PRAYER: Friday 7/25

I love you, Lord: 
my strength,
my fortress,
my deliverer... 

    - Psalm 18  

Lord, help me know how weak I am 

   so I might know the times I need your power
      to lift me up, hold me up 

            and help me to go on: 
    I love you, Lord, my strength... 

Help me know, Lord, how vulnerable I am 

   so I might know the times when 

      you're my only refuge, my safe haven,

        my shield and my protection: 
    I love you, Lord, my fortress... 

Help me know, Lord, how lost I often am 

   so I might know the times I need your grace

        to guide me and save me,

            to rescue and free me:  
    I love you, Lord, my deliverer...

I love you, Lord:

   my strength, 
      my fortress, 

         my deliverer... 

 

Protect me, Lord, while I'm awake

    and watch over me while I sleep

that awake, I might keep watch with you

    and asleep, rest in your peace...

Amen.
