Ready to hear the Word this weekend?
Check out the menu here.
And as long as we're talking about baked fish, take a look at what Bishop Conlon of the Diocese of Steubenville is recommending for his people.

What about fasting from something I choose? For many people, meat is would not be an option, i.e. vegetarians, some people can't afford it, etc .Where's the sacrifice there? Also, one could eat lobster on a Friday (and not meat) and feel like he/she is giving something up??? Actually, I have always beleived that DOING something extra is better than giving up something- as in Lent. Looks like this Bishop is going backwards - something I beleive the church is doing in many areas.

So, Anonymous, just adapt that to whatever are your circumstances, diet, inclinations or spirituality. Give the bishop the benefit of the doubt and presume that he, like you, realizes that for most folks eating lobster instead of hot dogs would be counter-productive.
