Pope Francis will visit South Korea on August 14-18. Here's an article by Jeri Eckhart Queenan who was invited to write on the pope as an exemplar of public leadership. She describes the pope's "Level 5 leadership," that “paradoxical combination of deep personal humility and intense professional will” that is essential for enduring greatness.
It strikes me that this article has something to say to leaders on every level of church life. I recommend you take the time to read this piece.
