Lord,
we all need a nudge
to shake us awake,
to get us to move,
to make some changes,
to do, to say, the next right thing...
And most of us, Lord,
need more than a nudge,
we need a kick in the butt!
You know how I need to be nudged,
you know what I'm holding back on,
what I'm reluctant and failing
to do and to say...
So nudge me, Lord,
and kick me in the butt
or wherever it is I need a good shove
to get me moving
on what I know I need to do...
