Pause for Prayer: FRIDAY 12/10

Today's Pause for Prayer is a musical reflection on a familar seasonal sight: holly and ivy.  A nineteenth century English folk tune is paired with lyrics from medieval times to connect the holy and ivy with the life of Jesus and Mary, his mother.

There's red and green everywhere around us!
Certainly, evergreens and seasonal holly
have come to "color" this season for us.
I hope this carol will help us see something more
and provide a moment of prayer for us all...
