Pause for Prayer: THURSDAY 4/21

  

Since all gifts come from you, Lord

here's my wish list for today:

I need your wisdom and your counsel

in my choices and decisions:

help me do what's mine to do

- with a generous, cheerful spirit...

I need the patience it may take

to be forgiving, kind and gentle...

I need to hear the truth you speak

and to trust the word I hear...

I need to reach beyond my limits

to follow where you lead...

I need your grace to grow in faith

and to trust and hope in you...

I need a quiet place to rest, Lord,
and some time to catch my breath...

 

I need to lift my soul in prayer.

to trust that you are there

and that you'll hear and answer me..

 

I need you close enough to touch,

to help me bear my burdens

to relieve me of my worries

and free my heart from fear...

 

And that's all I need today, Lord,

that's all I need today...
