God's always waiting to hear from me,
always got time to talk with me:
I'm the one who's often too busy,
can't make the time, to talk with God...
How about today?
Will I find, will I make, a little time
to talk with God
who's always waiting to hear from me?
And if I make the time,
then where to begin? how to start?
With my thanks and praise, my sorrows and joys,
with my own needs and those of all I love...
God's waiting to talk with me, today
- and waiting for me to go first!
