your reach,
your arms
and your care...

your protection,
your shelter,
your power...
Whatever may happen today, Lord,
no matter how quite unexpected,
it will not, it cannot, put me beyond
your plan,
your wisdom,
your will...
No matter what happens today, Lord,
whatever besets or befalls me,
it will not, it cannot, put me beyond
your compassion,
your mercy,
your love...
So, bring it, world!
Bring it life!
Give me whatever you've got!
For whatever may land in my lap today,
whatever may come my way, O Lord,
I'll choose, with the help of your mercy and strength
to live my life a day at a time,
to choose to do the next right thing
and to trust, my God, that all shall be well
in your grace, in your peace, in your time...
