Not too long ago I posted on my sister's retirement from teaching school and her opening The Quilted Purl (TQP). Her venture is a studio/workshop in Georgetown, Colorado where she offers classes on quilting and knitting and sells related materials (yarn, needles, kits for class projects) - and some of her own finished work.
Ruthie recently put up a website for her shop and more recently began blogging about her TQP experience. Her blog is aptly named Keeping Me in Stitches. And TQP is on FaceBook, too. (Having made the appropriate full disclosure about family ties, I'm happy to add my sister's site and blog to my sidebar!)
If you're in the Denver area and looking for a day trip, charming Georgetown is only a 45 mile drive from the Mile High City. Stop in at 600 Rose Street (click on the photo) and tell the owner that ConcordPastor sent you!
