Today is the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits). "Take Lord, Receive" is John Foley's musical setting of one of St. Ignatius' most well known texts. I've been blessed to have had Jesuit spiritual directors since 1979 so Ignatian spirituality has been a formative element in my prayer and spirituality for decades. I praise God from whom all blessings flow!
