How different my day would be, O Lord,
if only I trusted the joy you find
in the person you made me to be...
How pure and free my heart would be,
if only I opened my soul to you,
to the waves of mercy's tides...
How firm would be my faith, O Lord
if only I humbly believed:
you laid down your life - for me...
How high my spirits would rise and soar
if only I deeply trusted, Lord:
all manner of things shall be well...
How truly holy my life would be
if only I trusted your gentle touch
to heal my every hurt...
How much lighter the burdens I carry, Lord,
if only I welcomed the help you offer
through family, strangers and friends...
If only I'd listen, if only I'd learn
to live in the truth of your word, O Lord,
to grow in your mercy and grace...
Protect me, Lord as I lie awake
and watch over me while I sleep,
that awake, I might keep the watch with you
and asleep, rest in your peace...
Amen.

If Only We Knew by Unspoken
We have tasted the sweetness of your kindness
Caught a glimpse of your glory in the sun
And the promise in your word it still reminds us
There are greater, greater things to come
If we only knew
How deep the ocean of your love
How powerful every drop of blood
How much it cost to rescue us
If we only knew
How far the East is from the West
How we are clothed in righteousness
How strong the hands that conquered death
If we only knew
God your peace is beyond our understanding
Tender mercy like a river flowing through
You wait with patient arms to hold us
Desperate for the chance to show us
All we really need is you!
We are only scratching the surface
We are barely knocking on the door
We are only scratching the surface of your goodness
We are barely knocking on the door
And you long to show us more
If we only knew
How deep the ocean of your love
How powerful every drop of blood
How much it cost to rescue us
If we only knew
How far the East is from the West
How we are clothed in righteousness
How strong the hands that conquered death
If we only knew
We are daughters and sons, held in your arms
We are, we are, daughters and sons
Adopted and loved by you
