shake my faith in you,
take away my hope,
keep me from your love,
shade me from your light
or hold me back from prayer...
Today, Lord, let nothing
lead me from your path,
curb my will to serve you,
make me doubt your mercy
silence my word's truth,
or still your voice within me...
Today, Lord, let nothing
close my heart to others,
dampen my soul's joy,
hide me from your presence,
shield me from your grace,
or hinder me in any way
from knowing, loving, serving you,
my Lord, my God, my all...
