Sometimes, Lord,
the mountain I'm climbing
is really no more
than a bump in the road...

Sometimes, Lord,
the crisis I'm in
is little more
than a false impression...

Sometimes, Lord,
my fear isn't fear:
it's only my failing

to trust in your care...

Sometimes, Lord,
when I'm feeling sad,
I've only lost sight
of what makes me glad...

Sometimes, Lord,
when I feel all alone,
you're right by my side,

just a prayer away... 

 

Sometimes, Lord,

I'm totally lost

and I need you to lead me

home to your heart... 

And sometimes, Lord,
when I've no words to pray
help me sit in the silence
and listen for you...

Amen.
