After I posted a prayer for today's Feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, a faithful reader wrote that she had used it in a prayer service at an assisted living facility, had added few verses of her own and that a fruitful conversation about work and retirement followed the service. I asked permission to include her lines in my prayer - and I added a few more of my own. You can read the revised prayer here. I've marked my reader's contributions with asterisks.
