May is a month of special devotion to Mary, the Mother of Jesus. On the Saturdays of May, Pause for Prayer will focus on Mary with an appropriate musical selection, today, John Michael Talbot's setting of the Magnificat. From the gospel of Saint Luke, the Magnificat is Mary's song of praise when she, pregnant with Jesus, visited her kinswoman, Elizabeth who was pregnant with John the Baptist.
