Looking for something to do for Lent today?

You might spend some time considering these words from Saint Paul

Finally, brothers and sisters: 

    whatever is true, whatever is honorable, 

    whatever is just, whatever is pure, 

    whatever is lovely, whatever is gracious, 

        if there is anything excellent or praiseworthy,

            - think about these things...

 

And here are some ways to "consider" these things:

 

    Who in my immediate circumstances is

        true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, gracious, 

            excellent or praiseworthy

                - and how do I express my gratitude? 

    How, today, might my own words and deeds be more

        true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, gracious, 

            excellent and praiseworthy?

 

    Who, or what situation in my life, is in need of something

        true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, gracious, 

            excellent or praiseworthy

                - and how might I offer that? 

 

Finally, brothers and sisters:
